Lumen works alongside your existing phone number. We forward calls to Lumen using your carrier's conditional call forwarding — the same feature hotels use to route calls to the front desk. Your number doesn't change, and your phone still rings if you want it to.
You keep everything. All your messages are stored locally on the device. If you cancel Plus, you'll lose access to cloud sync, transcription, and the digest — but you'll still hear every message on the device itself. Your data is yours.
Cell phones, primarily. We built Lumen for how people actually communicate today — most households don't have a landline anymore. Setup takes about 5 minutes: you configure call forwarding on your mobile, connect Lumen to Wi-Fi, and you're done.
Spam detection runs entirely on-device. Transcription (Plus feature) is processed in our encrypted cloud pipeline and then deleted from our servers. We don't train models on your voice data — full stop. You can read our complete privacy policy before purchasing.
First units ship in Q3 this year to early reservation holders. We're keeping the initial batch small to make sure setup and support are genuinely good. You'll be charged only when your unit ships. Reservations are fully refundable until then.
